Oujda: Travelling Exhibition on Postage Stamps and Human Rights

The traveling exhibition on postage stamps and human rights, organized on the occasion of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, arrived on February 7, 2009 in Oujda, east of Morocco.

This exhibition offers a rich variety of postage stamps dealing with the issue of human rights, such as the celebration of world days for women, children, environment, illiteracy, etc. as well as international issue-specific years for cultural heritage, the disabled, dialogue of civilizations, fight against racism, culture of peace and refugees , etc. stamps on the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, or stamps issued to honor the personalities who fought for freedom and the promotion of human rights.

It is worth mentioning that Poste du Maroc issued a postage stamp marking the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It printed 100,000 copies.

The traveling exhibition on postage stamps and human rights, organized by the CCDH, Poste du Maroc, the UN information office, Amnesty International (Morocco section) on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, was already held in Rabat and Tangier. It will be soon in other cities of Morocco.
